Most branded grinders are zinc castings with a printed logo. Ours are CNC-machined from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminium with diamond-cut teeth, rare-earth magnets and 3D metal engraving that outlives the grinder itself.
What makes a grinder premium
Aircraft-grade aluminium, not zinc
Cheap grinders use zinc alloy castings that feel heavy but wear fast — threads grind, coatings flake, teeth dull. Premium grinders are CNC-machined from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminium: lighter, tighter tolerances, anodized colour that won't chip, and diamond-cut teeth that stay sharp for years.
Diamond-cut teeth, rare-earth magnets
The cutting teeth are milled rather than moulded, so they shear cleanly instead of crushing. A rare-earth magnet keeps the lid in register turn after turn — no cross-threading, no wobble, no lost lid.
Anodized in eight colours
Black, silver, gold, red, blue, green, purple, pink — the colour is baked into the metal through anodization, not painted on top. It won't chip, peel or fade with daily handling.
3D metal engraving that outlives the grinder
Gold, silver, black or rose gold — the logo is carved into the aluminium and finished in mirror metal. Because the mark is physically cut into the surface, it can never rub off like a decal or fade like a print.
