The cheap way to make grinders: inject molten zinc into a mold. Heavy in hand (feels 'premium' to the uninitiated) but soft threads that strip, teeth that dull fast, and painted/anodized coatings that flake. GMI does not use zinc. Every GMI grinder is CNC-machined from 6061 aluminium.
